  • Our 360 Editorial Associates Program in volunteer journalism is all about the children--their stories in the neighborhoods and communities where it all happens. We believe it is important that we broadcast the news of success and progress anecdotally--real stories of real people, told and written by talented volunteers 'on the ground' in  communities all over the country.
  • As an Editorial Associate you will create content for our website, and often the weekly SmartBrief e-newsletter, that child advocates everywhere can build upon in their own work--models that can be shaped  to meet a specific local environment.
  • Ours is a process of sharing information, of creating a national conversation among a much larger caring public than ever before. Our goal is to inspire  positive action based on the good works of those now engaged in the battle again child abuse and neglect, .At our best we create a citizen army of young adults who bring a fresh enthusiasm and support to the cause.
  • We do expect that Editorial Associates, along with our staff, will embrace the disciplines of essence journalism which guide us in our work.
